How does semantic grading work?+

Your answer doesn't need to match exactly — if the meaning is right, it's marked correct. On-device ML (MiniLM multilingual) uses cosine similarity for instant grading, and works offline.

Can I keep using the free tier?+

Yes. The free tier includes manual card entry, import, FSRS scheduling, and basic grading. AI card generation is Pro-only, and ads are shown.

Can I import my existing study materials?+

Yes. Upload a CSV, JSON, or APKG file and the cards plus media are automatically converted into a Segim deck.

Is my data safe?+

Data is encrypted and stored in Supabase with Row Level Security. You can export all of it as JSON anytime via Settings > Full Export; on account deletion, data is permanently removed after 30 days.
